For 30 years I have worked in various two and three-dimensional media, including hand-made paper, acrylic paint, clay, textiles, computer graphics and steel.
Recently I've been creating sculptures out of welded steel rods and painted silk. I'm drawn to express contradictions, by using materials with deviating properties or forms with unexpected backsides, undersides or hidden cavities.
I'm currently working on a series of sculptures called Soul Crafts. These sensuous, organic shapes are built to cradle your soul or transport it to wherever it needs to go.
